Description
There are three ways to participate in the SWEAT Program.

Youth in Teen Court are required to complete a classroom portion which consists of four, two hour lessons. Know the Law, Body Language, Night Vision, and Building resilience will be covered. Participants will sign a form weekly to keep track of their complete lessons.

If you are on Juvenile Probation, Teen Court (upon completion of four lessons), or Civil Complaint you can obtain Community Service hours. Participants will be supervised and complete tasks (work) given to them by FSPAL staff.

Parents or Guardians can sign up their children. These Participants will complete the above classroom portion of the program. The parents/guardians will have the option to allow the participant to do the work portion of the program. Once a participant begins the session they are required to do the work assigned to them. Refusal will lead to dismissal from the program.

Cell phones are NOT permitted during SWEAT! If the participant does not leave the phone at home it will be locked up at the beginning of the session. If you are caught with a phone the parent or guardian will be contacted to pick up the participant. The participant will NOT receive credit for the hours.

No contraband will be allowed during SWEAT. Tobacco products, vapes, narcotics, weapons of any sort will be handled according to the law.

Participants are required to participate in the lessons or work task, be respectful, and listen to direction. Depending on the level of offence participants may; not receive hours for the session, be disenrolled from the program.

Toward the end of the session participants may be allowed recreational time to use the gym's facilities. This is based on the level of participation and respect shown to each other and staff.
